If candidates apply for a BA program after the early application deadline (October 15 or February 15th), there will be 15 EUR non-refundable application fee applied.

Deposit €300 per programme

As a gesture of acceptance the university’s offer, a student is expected to make a non-refundable admissions deposit of 300 EUR no later than May 1. However, a student can make a payment earlier to secure the place in the University. Admissions deposit is NOT refundable.

The non-refundable admissions deposit is a part of student’s tuition and housing fees. This payment is necessary in order to:

- Reserve your place in the university;
- Secure your spot in the LCC residence hall: once you pay the deposit, you will be allowed to apply for on-campus housing.
- Enable LCC to start working on your visa documents;
- Receive LCC email and Intranet logins.

Programme structure

Year 1 / Students learn how to:
- Write well in English
- Interpret literature from various English-speaking cultures and traditions
- Explain the grammar and structure of the English language

Year 2 / Students expand their knowledge on:
- The basics of being a translator
- The stories and cultures from around the world

Year 3 / Students have a chance to:
- Train to be an English teacher
- Become an expert in different kinds of English writing: from business writing to creative fiction
- Learn to do research on how and why people use language the way they do

Year 4 / Students move on to:
- Complete their own independent research project
- Gain practical experience teaching English in a real classroom
- Sharpen skills in translation
- Deepen knowledge of great stories from literature, TV, and film

Career opportunities

The Career Development Center (CDC) works to help you succeed even before you get your Bachelor’s degree. You will learn to become everything employers are looking for from writing a job-winning resume to discovering your real talents and strengths.

CDC works with a number of companies and organizations to locate jobs or internships for students. Summer work opportunities include work and travel experiences in the USA and Western Europe.
